Swagbucks

Do you know what Swagbucks is? It's a search engine that rewards you with "Swagbucks" when you use them. I know a lady who began using this last year, and by Christmas had amassed $1000 in Amazon giftcards to use for Christmas!

Now I'm not expecting that success, but hey, any giftcards would be great!. I put my widget on the side of my blog- just go sign up if you'd like to try it- maybe we can all have a little cheaper Christmas this next year! I'm 1/3 of the way to a $5 Amazon giftcard in just a few days! ( not a lot but in time it adds up)

Since I don't really like the way it looks, I probably won't keep it on my blog for long, but for a little while the link is there!

And since I'm in crazy money saving mode lately- please let me in on any tricks you have- I'm in desperate need!

Groceries are the "easiest" place to save money. I use a couple websites that track the grocery stores and coupons in my area and matches them up so that I can really save. Google it and find one around there. I don't always use it, because it takes a lot of effort, but there can be some serious savings.
Also, form a co-op for babysitting. I am in one here where we "pay" each other with tickets. That way we can go on a date without having to pay for a babysitter, but I don't feel like I am taking advantage of a friendship.
And then, I actually need help staying in budget, but I have all kinds of ideas - I am just not so good on follow through.

I put

on my blog list/RSS feed so that I can see every time she updates. I got "UP" and "Santa Buddies" for only $6.00 a piece for Christmas and a sit and spin for only $10. She finds some really good deals!
